ABOUT THE AUTHOR…
Dr. Linton M. Smith Jr. (B.Th; M.Th; D.D.) is the founder and director of Chinese Baptist Mission and has been a missionary to the Chinese people since 1982. He and his wife Lisa have served in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and since 1992 have lived and worked in the People’s Republic of China (mainland).
Dr. Smith is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, where he has been a member of Gloryland Baptist Church, Forestdale, Alabama, since 1989. From 1983 to 1989 he was a member of Shady Acres Baptist Church, Houston, Texas.
Dr. Smith has attended Warner-Southern College (Florida); the University of Alabama; Jefferson State Junior College (Alabama); and Southeastern Bible College (Alabama). He is a graduate of Pensacola Bible Institute (Florida); Charity Baptist Institute (Ohio); and Ohio and Temple Baptist Bible College (Louisiana).
