The Promise of the King
Rick Schworer
The Promise of the King “The place whereon thou standest is holy ground.” The same war waged against God from its first celestial battleground continues through time to follow a peculiar group to the land of Canaan, perhaps the bloodiest soil known to man. The trembling and stalwart hearts of God’s men upon the mountains of Ararat, Moriah, and Sinai long for the realization of the Garden Promise, as the adversary does all to prevent its fulfillment. Flawed individuals will be asked to do the unthinkable. Supernatural events will shatter the laws of nature. As God’s people embark upon a journey through a barren wasteland, oaths that warp the natural flow of history will both serve to protect and destroy them. Welcome to the story of the kingdom of Heaven. 240 pages, softcover. ABOUT THE AUTHOR… As a teenager, Rick developed a love for the word of God while attending Bible Institute classes that his dad taught for several years in Georgia. He found early on in life the best way for him to learn and study was to write. For Rick, this developed into a love of writing, and as a young man on the mission field he would often write Bible studies for his father to read and review with him. Ever since then, he wanted to write a book, a door that God opened for him through Dr. Sam Gipp’s work How to Get Your Book Published. Rick’s first book was published through Daystar Publishing in 2010, entitled Roadmap Through Revelation. The book is dedicated to Rick’s father, Richard Lee Schworer, who passed away in 2004. |
